Computer Science 280 Elements of Web Development
An overview of concepts and techniques from information technology and computer science that serve as a foundation for web development, including the history of the Internet and World Wide Web; basic concepts of operating systems, networks, and databases; the client-server paradigm and Internet protocols, including HTTP and FTP. Programming concepts will be explored through markup and interpreted languages such as HTML, JavaScript and PHP. Prerequisite: CSCI 181 or permission of the instructor..
