Lab Exercise 16: Play with Pictures

For class session on 11/04

Be sure to open the Error Console and clear the console messages if necessary.

Make a copy of Lab 16 start page so you can edit it.

Also save copies of all the five images that are in the lab 16 folder (notice that two are .gif and three are .jpg.).

Task 1

Add the script tag necessary for you to use the swap_pic library function that was covered in class.

Task 2

Write an event handler of the click event on the form button. It should change the image to the one determined by the text entered by the user.

Task 3

Write event handlers for the mouseover and mouseout events on the red picture of a button.

• When the mouse is over the picture, it should change to the light version.
• When the mouse moves away from the picture, it should change to the dark version.
